AI Transparency

Effective: July 12, 2026Last updated: July 12, 2026

Features that use AI

  • Resume-to-job analysis
  • Job-match explanations and briefs
  • Interview and networking practice questions and feedback
  • Outreach message drafts
  • Recommended next actions
  • Summaries of career-related information

What AI sees

Depending on the feature, Relay may send the AI provider your resume text, a specific job description you have opened or saved, your practice responses, or your notes for a specific contact. Relay does not send unrelated browsing history or other users' data.

Limits and mistakes

AI can produce incomplete, inaccurate, biased, or otherwise inappropriate output. Relay does not make hiring decisions and does not know your true probability of being hired. Always review AI drafts and recommendations before sending them or relying on them.

Match and opportunity scores

Any resume-match score or opportunity score in Relay measures alignment between your resume and the job — it is not a probability of employment.

Report problems

If AI output is unsafe, discriminatory, or clearly wrong, email us at [PRIVACY EMAIL] with a short description and, where possible, a copy of the output. We use these reports to improve prompts, guardrails, and provider choices.

Data controls

You can delete AI-related transcripts and drafts from Settings → Privacy & Data, or delete your entire account from /delete-account.
